Skiathos can be reached by plane from all over the word.You can find all direct or indirect flights here.
SkiathosAirport is besides the town.Rent-a-Car companies, and taxis are there.
Skiathos Island is in the middle of Greece (Eastern side). If you hire a car from Athens Airport, you will drive for about 200 klm to Agios Konstandinos from where the nearest route to Skathos departs. Boats are High-Speed and the trip(1,30 h) is worth the effort, as you will meet beautiful landscapes.All boat trips schedule can be found here. 
Skiathos is accessed by boats from major ports. The nearest route is from Agios Konstantinos (central Greece), or Volos. 
Small boats round trips take place several times a day.
