One million of tourists choose Mykonos every year as their holiday's destination. The island is famous for it's natural beauty it's cosmopolitan character and it's like no other night life. Mykonos offers more than 20 superior beaches for swimming and sea sports. Main town is called Hora and is on the sea by the port. All night-life, shops, tavernas etc are there. Ano Mera is the town in the center of the island. Known beaches are Platis Yialos, Paradise, Super Paradise, Elia, Agrari, Kalafatis etc. Mykonos town its self is an archetypal of Cycladic architecture. Walking in the narrow streets is like walking in a live post-card. The town is small and you can only walk through. Cars or motorbikes are not allowed to enter the town.
Taxis are limited to a certain number and you should go to "Taxi Square" in the town and stand in a row until your turn comes.
Boats connect Mykonos with Delos which is near and which is worth a visit as it is an ancient place left as it was from the classic period.
